A Novel Framework of Public Risk Assessment Using an Integrated Approach Based on AHP and Psychometric Paradigm

Understanding how the public perceives various risks and hazards associated with our well-being health is crucial for governments policymakers. The present research aimed to assess perception of health. study combined two well-known risk assessment approaches: analytical hierarchical process (AHP) psychometric paradigm. Seven attributes were chosen from literature evaluate 27 hazard activities using a survey questionnaire developed based on paradigm literature. collected data then analyzed AHP determine priority weight each attribute. results showed that most attribute was voluntariness risk, followed by chronic catastrophic newness risk. Furthermore, found natural ranked highest, refugee influx fire hazards.
